TODDLER & INFANT CARE
Our Infant 1 class is available for children aged 6 weeks to 9 months. Our youngest group in the center, Infant 1 is a flexible group that varies with the schedule of the child in care. We provide a loving and caring environment that allows parents to feel comfortable and safe leaving their child with us while they are away. Our Infant 1 teachers focus on building strong relationships with the babies and families that they provide care for thorough parent communication. Our infant class focuses on building strength and motor skills that will enable the children to move into our busy Infant 2 classroom.
Our Infant 2 class is available for children aged 9-18 months. Our second Infant room is primarily for infants that have begun to move and become more active. We offer a variety of activities and toys that foster developmental growth and increased motor skills. Through art, music, and sensory play we focus on the growing interests of our children, and allow them to discover their interests in a flexible setting.
Our toddler classroom is for children ages 18 months- 3 years old. Our toddlers spend most of their time focusing on learning about their environment through new experiences. Our toddler's primary focus is developing fine and gross motor skills through play, dance, art, and sensory experiences. Our toddler room works to teach children through experience, and tailor lesson plans to the growing interests
of their children. We are also able to foster growth through play doing outdoor activities and in our gymnasium, as well as participating in weekly story hour with the Phelps Library.
